Can UV light be built into #waterbottle? Or water filter? #angeldonor here, this:

I am posting this for people to be better informed. I applaud the effort to use the crank charger for UV instead of general emergency lighting, and combining it with a manual pump filter makes a certain sale for all, me too. But what is not said here concerns the UV aspect of this. First, it is highly unlikely that the very short exposure time is adequate to perform the required function, but cranking it back up a couple times would accomplish this, so thats my first recommendation. The second recommendation is that all reading this understand that the UV only disrupts the ability for what is in the water TO REPRODUCE ONLY. I repeat for clarity, IT DOES NOT KILL ANYTHING ! Allow the water to sit for the full lifetime cycle of the types of organisms known in the area it gets used, and you have safe water to drink.
