Amazing photos capture the magic of Slovenia's startling ice formations

spends his time shooting tornadoes, lightning and severe storms across the globe. But his latest work took him to Slovenia's Mount Javornik, the site of a popular ski center. What he found is difficult to put into words - a series of stunningly beautiful ice formations of spikes, frozen trees and lookout towers completely covered with rime ice.
