USGBC premieres human health podcast "Built for Health" | U.S. Green Building Council

We say it often at USGBC: Every story about a building is a story about people. Every day we wake up, work, live and play in a man-made environment. Although most people associate sustainable buildings with environmental health, there is a growing understanding of the positive effect the green building movement has on individual health as well. USGBC’s new podcast series, “Built for Health,” explores the various impacts the built environment has on human health. The series is hosted by former Schneider Fellow Flavia Grey , a PhD candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University. With a focus on the dynamic interaction between occupant well-being and building sustainability, “Built for Health” brings public health professionals and researchers together with architecture, engineering and construction practitioners to discuss how to design, build and ope...
