2015 Syngenta Photography Award presents powerful responses to the theme of Scarcity–Waste https://t.co/x6aj82tyg6

"How, in a world that is so desperately short of resources, can we ensure that there is enough land, food and water for future generations?" This is one of the questions under discussion in the second edition of the <a href="http://www3.syngenta.com/global/photo2014/en/Pages/home.aspx">Syngenta Photography Award</a>, which has just opened at <a href="https://www.somersethouse.org.uk/visual-arts/syngenta-photography-award-2015">Somerset House</a> in London. The 2015 award invited both professional and amateur photographers to respond to the theme of Scarcity–Waste and examine one of the greatest challenges facing a world with increasingly limited resources. Forty-two finalists from 21 countries were selected from the more than 2,000 submissions received, and they competed for a total of $65,000 in prizes.
