The US Green Building Council’s (USGBC) third public comment period for the proposed update to its LEED green building rating system, coined LEED 2012, has been extended to March 27th at 9am EDT. The comment period is the next step in the continuous improvement process and on-going development of the LEED program. Comments will be welcomed on any substantive changes made since the second public comment period (Summer 2011). The Canadian rating system requirements must closely match those established by the USGBC. It is therefore important that Canadians participate fully in the USGBC public comment process.
