Project of the Week: Sejong Public Admin Town South Korea by @balmorilab HAssociatesInc & HaeahnArch #greenroofs

In 2007 Balmori Associates won a competition to design the Master Plan for South Koreas new administrative city. Once completed, Sejong City, some 90 miles south of Seoul, will be home to 36 ministries and institutions currently located in or near Seoul. This project is under construction; the first phase was completed in 2012, and the second phase was completed in 2013. With the opening of the third phase in December 2014, the midsection of the dragon housing the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, Legislative Office, and Postal Service Headquarters the complex became home to 37 government organizations and about 13,000 public servants.
