Yudelson Steps Down from Green Globes

Despite my frustrations with what I see in the creation of Green Globes and the significant influence in that system of organizations that are rooted in practices that should at the least evolve and, in some cases, be removed from green building, there is an excellent point made by Mr. Yudelson. “It’s time for an end to the happy talk about how successful we are [as a green building industry] and time for a hard look at what’s holding us back,” Yudelson told BuildingGreen We ALL need to be figuring this out. That would include dealing with the industry "myth-conceptions" about sustainable design in realistic ways as well assessing why the guidance under LEED is still considered a burdensome process rather than an informative tool. How can this tool become useful and more readily influential/inspirational/transformational in the work at hand?
