You were with us in 2000 when we launched LEED. Rachel Gutter You attended the first Greenbuild in 2002 in Austin, Texas. You were there this past year when we announced that the 12,000th commercial project had earned LEED certification. You’ve invested countless hours into advancing the green building conversation and the transformation of our buildings and communities. As architects, engineers, developers and manufacturers, you know how to build a building. Now we need your help to build a movement. On Sept. 29, 2012, the Center for Green Schools at USGBC will host the inaugural Green Apple Day of Service, which will bring together volunteers from communities across the world to make our schools healthy, safe and efficient places for kids to learn.
