The very earliest buildings we have archaeological record of were formed primarily out of mud and straw — but we have come a long way since then. Our long, impressive history of construction demonstrates that humans are abundantly capable of creating structures from all sorts of materials, natural and otherwise. Unfortunately, for millennia, humankind has relied on natural elements like wood and stone as building resources, and as a result, the Earth has suffered tremendously.
