AECB Kent Group's first meeting of 2016 with presentations on Insulation, Airtightness and Ventilation

Meeting of AECB Kent Group in Westgate Community Hall This event was held at the recently refurbished Westgate Community Hall in Canterbury. This proved to be a convenient location and was a bright and airy building. Around 30 members and guests attended, ranging from home owners, architects, engineers, suppliers and builders. Presentations were by: PYC and Cuir, distributors and manufacturers of Warmcel cellulose insulation Systemair mechanical ventilation systems ProClima airtight and windtight systems from Ecological Building Systems Cellulose insulation has long been a favourite in the green building arena and it was interesting to find out how it is made, installed and its properties in both winter and summer conditions and performance under fire tests.
