LEED Pro Spotlight: Jessica Cogan Millman: Why did you pick Neighborhood Development?

Why did you pick Neighborhood Development? It was an obvious choice since I was a founding member of the LEED-ND Core Committee. At the time of the ND Beta Exam, I was the chair of the LEED-ND Core Committee and we were in the final stages of launching the rating system. How does your LEED credential help you in your job or career? I believe it provides me with additional credibility as a LEED-ND expert. Within the green building community, it is the quickest and easiest way to explain what I do. What did you do to earn your CE hours? I get involved! I was on the ND Core Committee, and I am assuming responsibility as Chair of the LP TAG (Location & Planning Technical Advisory Group). I attend green building conferences, I read articles and I’m LEED Faculty. I don’t think there is a type of CE credit I haven’t earned! What are some LEED certified project(s) you have worked ...
