Alberta leading LEED in Canada We know we've been working hard toward more sustainable buildings and communities. But did you know our efforts are showing we lead the per capita LEED stats in Canada? According to statistics compiled by the Canada Green Building Council , Alberta has the highest LEED registered square footage per capita in the county. The chart shows Alberta's chunk of the pie at an impressive 29% of all registered projects in Canada per capita. Holding the #2 spot is Ontario with 19%, significantly below Alberta's achievement.
