We do have an Earthship retrofit project coming up the beginning of January for a few weeks. The retrofit will consist of installing Earthship systems such as greywater/blackwater systems, solar, and water catchment. During this first hit, we will be insulating the structure and improving ventilation/thermal mass heating/cooling. Right now, we don't know if it will last 2 or 3 weeks, but we would like to accept 4-5 volunteers/apprentices for the 2nd and 3rd weeks. Week 2: January 14-18 *Week 3: January 21-25 *Week 3 is a maybe at this point, but it looks like there will definitely be continuous work in this area for the next several months. The retrofit project will take place in Vail, Arizona, outside of Tucson. You will be able to share a cottage house with other apprentices so accommodations are provided on site.
