86 countries. 7 regions. 5 days. 1 cause: World Green Building Week Tue 16 Aug, 2011 From 19-23 September, World Green Building Week will again unite industries, organisations and individuals and draw attention to the importance of creating greener, healthier, more sustainable buildings and communities. In Australia, a range of events and activities will highlight the important role green buildings can play in a 'new green economy', and we encourage all GBCA member companies to be 'green building ambassadors' during the week. Last year's celebrations included synchronised green building events in 18 countries. This year, we're expecting more than 50 countries to participate. This rapid escalation in participation is evidence that the green building movement continues to gain momentum - and Australia is leading the charge. So, what can your company do?
