Once the snow comes in November, it is here until April and sometimes May. Six months of winter is enough for me. The most depressing statistic is that there are about 200 cloudy days in Rochester, which is 55% of the year. I’m not from this region and even after 14 years, I cannot get used to the winter months. Rochester is also in one of the top 10 cities' list for most "heavy cloud" days. Thankfully I travel where there is sun, no snow, and temperatures above 70! This is not always the case and I’m stuck at my desk with the joyous bliss of silent snow falling from the sky. Fun for the first 48 hours but I have a hard time when it hangs around for six months. OK, so maybe I don’t have to be so negative about the weather and I am grateful to be around plants all the time even when I’m at my desk.
