Westchester County Wins First LEED Gold Rating for Community College Gateway Center: Designed by New York City-...

Designed by New York City-based Ennead Architects, the Westchester Community College Gateway Center for English as a Second Language has earned Westchester County’s first LEED Gold rating from USGBC. The 70,000-square-foot, $40 million project opened in 2010 and was designed by Ennead Architects. Its design program included state-of-the-art classroom space, seminar rooms, a 175-seat auditorium, a cafe, a welcome center, and computer and language labs.
