A river made of 10,000 glowing books flows through Toronto
The battle between pedestrians and vehicles continues, and for one night in Toronto, the pedestrians are winning. A group of Spanish artists collectively known as Luzinterruptus have created an art installation that uses thousands of books to fill a Toronto street and fight pollution, noise and traffic in one of the world's largest cities. "Literature vs. Traffic" transforms city streets into places of calm and culture that can lataer be dismantled by the visitors who decide to take pieces of the artwork home.
