Natural ventilation and light filters through this glittering perforated facade

The natural environment permeates through the faceted, perforated facade of this shopping center in Bangkok. Thailand-based studio Architectkidd designed the project, named The Street Ratchada, by renovating an existing retail development and combining Thailand’s traditional metalwork techniques with digital design to create an engaging envelope that allows air and light to filter through the porous diamond panels.
